Under GDPR, how long does a company have to report a data breach to the supervisory authority?
24 hours 72 hours 7 days 30 days
Correct! Under GDPR Article 33, breaches must be reported within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.
The Problem

Training is expensive.
Forgetting is more expensive.

Companies spend an average of $1,200 per employee on training every year. But without reinforcement, people forget up to 70% within a week and 90% within a month. That's not a training problem — it's a retention problem.

Spaced repetition is the most evidence-backed technique for long-term memory. Recall brings it to where your team already works: Slack.

Frequently asked questions

What is spaced repetition?
Spaced repetition is a learning technique where review sessions are scheduled at increasing intervals. Instead of cramming, you review material just as you're about to forget it. This moves information from short-term to long-term memory far more effectively than traditional methods.
Do my team members need to install anything?
No. Recall works entirely through Slack DMs. If your team uses Slack, they can use Recall. There's nothing to download, no accounts to create, and no new passwords to remember.
How does the scheduling work?
Recall uses the SM-2 algorithm, the same system behind popular flashcard apps like Anki. When someone answers correctly, the next review is scheduled further out. When they struggle, reviews come sooner. Each person gets a personalized schedule based on their performance.
Can I import existing training material?
Yes. You can import questions via CSV upload or create them manually in the dashboard. Enterprise plans also include AI-powered question generation from your existing documents.
How do you measure engagement?
The dashboard shows response rates, average answer times, retention scores, and completion percentages. You can see performance at the individual, team, and question bank level. All data is exportable for compliance reporting.
Is our data secure?
Recall runs on Cloudflare's global network. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We don't store message content beyond what's needed for the spaced repetition algorithm. Enterprise customers can request dedicated infrastructure and custom data retention policies.
Do you support Microsoft Teams?
Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. If Teams support is important for your organization, reach out and we'll keep you in the loop on our timeline.
